Default Macro 'Automation error' with ChemOffice Excel macro

Has any one experienced a macro which when updated to a
new version, but which has the same name as an old
version, causes an 'Automation Error' when it is selected
in the Add-ins menu. This is a problem with a macro
supplied by Cambridgesoft ChemOffice software, which
enables the use of ChemDraw structures to be shown ib
Excel worksheets. They don't seem to have an answer and
it looks like a Microsoft macro registration problem?
I've really no idea, if anyone has an anser both myself
and Cambridgesoft would be very greatful.
