Default Getting rid of workbook

I am pretty much a novice.

When I run Excel, there is the extra workbook that I cannot get rid of.

It is hidden, and I can unhide it. But I cannot figure out:

1. How to get Excel to start without this workbook being there.

2. How to get rid of it.

The workbook has something to do with Visio, another app installed on my
computer. So it might be some kind of add in.

Default Getting rid of workbook

Look in the xlstart directory and remove any workbooks you find there.
These are loaded when Excel is opened.
