I have some code that I have written that generates a quote for
equipment and I have digitally signed it (self cert). The problem that I am running into is that people running Excel 97 get an error: "EXCEL.exe has generated errors and will be closed by Windows. You will need to restart the program." I can remove the certificate and the code works fine in Excel 97. Any ideas why this error is happening? I know Digital Certificates are not supported in 97, but from everything I read, the code should still work - just be unveiwable.
