Default xlCellTypeSameFormatConditions

Can anyone explain what this constant does as an argument
of SpecialCells?

All the MSDN says about it is, "Cells having the same
format."

Same as WHAT?

If SpecialCells(xlCellTypeSameFormatConditions) returns a
range of all cells of a specified format, then where do
you specify the format?

Perhaps it breaks the range down into areas of identical
formats?

rng.SpecialCells(xlCellTypeSameFomatConditions) returns the cells
with the same *conditional* formatting as the first cell in the
range.

Likewise, rng.SpecialCells(xlCellTypeAllFormatConditions) returns
all the cells in the range with conditional formatting.
