Default Error message

Hi Ruud,

This isn't guaranteed to solve the problem, but it's worth a try. Use
Windows Explorer to search all of your hard disks for files with a .XLB
extension. Delete any that you find. Excel uses these file to store
information about its toolbar configuration, but they commonly become
corrupted and cause strange errors like this. Excel will recreate new
default versions if you delete the old corrupt ones, but you will lose any
toolbar customizations you've made in Excel.

Hi there,

Does anyone have any ideas about the following error message:
----------------------------
Application error
The instruction at "ox651d2a61" referenced memory at "0x0000000". The

memory
could not be read.
----------------------------

The code works fine on a Xp machine. This error appears on an NT.

Any ideas anyone?
Thx
