Default Does formatting raise an event

Hi

I've noticed several examples in this NG, and elsewhere,
in which events are disabled whilst applying cell formats,
eg code to extend Excel's limit of 3 conditional formats
and apply color.

Does formatting ever raise any events, and if not is there
any reason to disable events if the code only changes
formats?

TIA
Sandy

Hi Chip
Thanks for clarifying that,

Sandy,

No, changing the format of a cell does not trigger a

change event.
