I have 2 problems :
1. I had a macro(visual basic) under excel 2000 using
solver functions. Now, I have Office XP, and the same
file contening the same macro can't be run : Visual Basic
can't recognize solver functions.

2. I had a macro(visual basic) under outlook 2000. Now
with Office XP, I cannot run it because " macro function
is disabled". How to activate it in Outlook.

The first problem is probably due to a broken reference.
For some reason, Excel XP changed the directory naming
slightly which breaks the reference to solver.xla. To
fix the problem, you have to re-select the reference to
solver.xla from the Visual Studio IDE for the Macros.
That fixes the problem for XP, but it's then broken for
Excel 2000. Oh well.

to High. If so,
change it to medium and it will prompt you to Enable or
Disable macros. You
have to restart Outlook when you change macro security.
