running under excel 2002/xp?

Andrea,

Holding down the SHIFT key works for me fine in Excel 2002.

Hi Chip,

thanks a lot for your reply. This annoying problem seems to be connected
to the (my???) windows explorer. 'Shift' is fine as long as I do not try
to open the document with the explorer.

cordially

A.
