Default ControlSource problem

I have a user form with several textboxes. The user types
a number in one text box. Based on that input the
contents of another textbox is then determined by setting
the controlsource property to the appropriate cell
reference.

My problem is when I clear that property my cell value
disappears.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.
