Default Macro to edit cell

Kevin,

Not absolutely sure how you want to go about this, but see if this helps

Dim x as Long ' requires whole numbers only, no decimals

x = InputBox("Enter new value")
ActiveCell.Value = x & Right(ActiveCell.Value, 6)

you could set x as String and it will accept numbers or text.
