Default Excel 97 issues

People,
i'm attending an interview tomorrow with an accounting
firm that still uses Excel 97 as its default
spreadsheeting software. Amazing, but true. I'd like to
impress them with my product knowledge.
Can someone remind me on the Excel 97 recalculation
issue..what cells were involved....?? also, 97 contained a
flight simulator - what was the key combination to get to
to work...??
Thanks, Chris

No offense, but it sounds like you want to impress them with our knowledge,
not yours. Having said that, you should look at some of the Excel MVP sites.
Some of those are very Excel 97 oriented and you may even find the flight
sim combo keys. I've seen the flight sim in E97 but it has just been too
long and I don't remember it.

You can find it in the eggs section under oddities at John Walkenbach's site
http://www.j-walk.com/ss/excel

specifically: http://j-walk.com/ss/excel/odd/odd01.htm

but I don't think having these keystrokes memorized would impress them with
your productivity.

As to the recalc problems, you can start he
