='F:\XX00\YY\[MYDBF.DBF]MYDBF'!$A2 will link to a file in
F:\xx00\yy directory and MYDBF.DBF (file name) and MYDBF
table name and row 2 (assuming that this DBF file also
been kept opened in Excel).

But you have to keep bth dbf and Excel file opened to
work this ( to my best knowledge)
