Default Dynamic Spreadsheet Link error Excel '97

I am retrieving data from a server (the system is called Cartesis) to an
excel spreadsheet. The Cartesis add-in handles the retrieving of the
data, and all I have to do is type in a VBA command to update the
Cartesis information on a spreadsheet. The macro I am running requires
about 200 reports to be run one after the other (ie. 200 spreadsheet
refreshes). This should take about 5 hrs on my machine.

After about 3 hours of running, the macro crashes with the following
error :
"Dynamic Spreadsheet Link - too much data has been loaded. The server
will close as it could become unstable."

If anyone has heard of this error or knows how to correct it, please let
me know. Maybe it has something to do with DDE

Regards
Mike
