Default Finding File Creation Time

Hello:

Is there any way to find the actual creation date for an excel workbook
-when you have downloaded that file as an attachment-?

I believe that some notation of the original creation date must remain
somewhere, but all those that I can find (in file/properties/general
and file/properties/statistics) give the date when the file was
downloaded.

I appreciate any suggestions!
