Is it possible to create a fixed length text file from an Excel file? Thanks!

Set the columns to the character width of the fixed width column, e.g 30 for 30 characters. (even if the data is partly hidden or there seems a lot of room in the cell) Now save the file as a 'formatted text (Space Delimited)'.
