Default Fixed length text file

Is it possible to create a fixed length text file from an Excel file? Thanks!

Eric

Set the columns to the character width of the fixed width column, e.g 30 for
30 characters. (even if the data is partly hidden or there seems a lot of
room in the cell)

Now save the file as a 'formatted text (Space Delimited)'. That should do it
