Default Hyperlinks

I have a shared workbook that I want to add hyperlinks to. Is there anyway of
achieving this without having to un-share the workbook first?

Not that I'm aware of. Have you tried using the hyperlink function?

Yes, as an Excel function this works but when linking files this is a long
winded approach,
