cursor
my cursor in excel has changed from a pointer to a white cross..how do I

Why would you want to?
That is the normal cursor for Excel when selecting cells. If you move away from the actual cells grid does your cursor change to an arrow? Like if you move it up to the Toolbar or Menu Bar?
