Default Copied Cell

After copying a fomula in excel, I ended up with the proper formula, however,
it copied the value of the cell from which I have copied the fomula.

When I tried to create the formula instead of copying it, I ended up with
zaro.

Default Copied Cell

ToolsOptionsCalculation in "Manual" mode?

Change to Automatic.

Post the formula and show us what is in the referenced cells.
