Default printing cells with borders

Hi

I'm using Excel 2003 and I have various cells bordered by a red dotted line.
Is there a reason why this is printing black and not red? Other colours on
the page are printing ok.

Many thanks
JD

Yes, printer is set to print colour. The dotted line is very small. I wonder
if the printer can't read the colour?
