formula for populaing other cells
can you help please. ihave a formula that is checking for a specific number
and when the number is shown a value is entered into the cell, but ineed to also show that value in another cell without entering a formula in the other cell eg (= b5) where b5 is the cell with the value in. please any advice |

The only way to do that would be with a macro. You could could record a
macro to do it: Tools | Macro | Record New Macro then go to the source cell (B5) and use Copy (Edit | Copy or [Ctrl]+[V]) and then go to the destination cell and use Edit | Paste Special with the [Values] option chosen. Stop recording. Now you can run that macro to make that change when needed. If you have lots of cells to do this with, you can include similar operations in a single macro.
