Hi,

I have a main spreadsheet file that is keeping track of various information that is getting pulled from other files. Currently the links that I have set up to those cells only seem to be updating when I open up the main spreadsheet and then open up each individual file that they are linking back to.

Can this update not be done automatically without having to open each individual file everytime? Would a macro of some sort work here, if so what would it look like?

As well, for some of the cells in the main spreedsheet, which are linking back to cells in the other files, the value that gets returned is sometimes showing the "VALUE?" error. But once again when I open the file in which it is attempting to pull that information from, the information re-appears. What am I doing wrong?
