Default how do i lock a cell? to save formula or function in it?

Hi Everyone,
Please help me to know about how i lock a cell? i make a sheet of my use and
in that i mention lots of formulas and function and some other user use that
sheet for there work now the problem is if the delete that formula or
function from the sheet it become useless so i want to lock that particular
cell so that no one can delete or edit it not even write in it except me.
Please sort this quary

Hi,

By default, all cells are locked when you choose
Tools/Protection/Protect Sheet or Workbook.
So you just have to go to the cells where you want the users to allow
edition and choose Format/Cells/Protection and in the protection
section untick the Locked check box. Then protect the worsheet with a
password and it's done.
