Rozie -
The chi square probability distribution is used for a variety of statistical hypothesis tests, e.g., goodness of fit, equality of proportions, and contingency table tests of independence. Excel doesn't do the setup for you. You must develop the actual frequencies and expected frequencies in worksheet cells. Then you can use Excel's CHITEST worksheet function or the associated CHIDIST and CHIINV functions. See Help for information about these functions. - Mike www.mikemiddleton.com "Rozie" wrote in message ... does anyone know if excel does chi squared?
