Default Removing file [Group] designation

On a large spreadsheet, a inadverant keystroke sequence added [Group] to the
File name displayed at the top of the excel window.

Using Excel 2002. Problem is that I can't select or copy any of the charts
created in the worksheet. Can select data, but can't copy it into another
spread sheet. Even though it won't copy the data it changes a blank
worksheet to book3,xls [Group]

I thought this was similar to [Shared] in version 2002 or 2003 but can't
remove it.

Suggestions?

Right click on a sheet tab and select Ungroup Sheets.
The save your file.

(I'm not sure of names of menus, options and commands, because
translating from the Italian version of Excel...)

Hope I helped you.

Thanks in advance for your feedback.

Franz --

Thanks, didn't know that this was a "feature" of having inadvertantly
selected multiple worksheets in a spreadsheet. Strange that it doesn't
"unselect" the way regular cells do.

Thanks again.

Bob

If you were in group mode for a period of time I would suggest you check all
sheets that were in the group.

What you have done to one sheet will have been done to all.

This includes data entry, formatting and a few other things.

Can lead to disastrous results.
