I'm trying to type ratios such as "0:1:0" into my excel spredsheet. Excel,
in its infinite wisdom, keeps changing it to "12:01:00 AM." How do I tell excel to leave the cell alone after I type what I WANT to go into it? |

Either precede you data with an apostrophe (single quote) as it is typed in
or format the cell as Text before entering the data. -- Gary's Student "Qlmmb2000" wrote: I'm trying to type ratios such as "0:1:0" into my excel spredsheet.
