![]() Hi, first post here, so be gentle! I have a row of months, that have been imported from another spreadsheet. The problem i have is that they all have the following format on first glance. i.e. "Feb-07". However, when I click on the cell itself on one of the colums, it gives a format in the formula bar of "01/02/06". What I need to do is give all the cells the format of, say Custom "mmm-yy". However, try as i might when i try and apply the formatting, paste special etc etc it does not convert into reading say "Feb-07" in the formula bar. Any thoughts? Many thanks Dan -- dancleary ------------------------------------------------------------------------ dancleary's Profile: http://www.excelforum.com/member.php...o&userid=35784 View this thread: http://www.excelforum.com/showthread...hreadid=555492 |
