I need to set up a colum with sequential numbers ie 1001, 1002, 1003 and so
on I need to do it on Excel but cant find how on the help, im using Office 2000. Can anyone help please John Wilson |

hi,

Thank you, I did as you said but got only the number I entered tried several

Try this
Enter 1001 in A1 Right-click on the bottom right corner of A1 and drag down a ways until you reach "so on" Let go the mouse button and select "Fill Series" from the options. Are you sure you didn't do Edit/ Fill DOWN, rather than Edit/ Fill SERIES? -- David Biddulph |
