Default Change height of the Formula Bar in Excel?

Thanks for the work-around idea - that could be really helpful in certain
instances!

Cheers

The formula bar height cannot be changed.

Resize the Window so you're not working in a maximized window.

Alternative..........................

A kludgy work-around............

WindowNew WindowArrangeHorizontal.

Arrange top window so's it covers 4 or 5 rows.

Work in the bottom window. Your long formulas will drop down into the top
window when you select a cell in lower window.

When I have a cell that contains multiple lines of text (usually forced with
Alt + Enter), the text covers the top few rows of cells on the worksheet when
it is displayed in the formula bar. Is there a way to change the height of
the Formula Bar (in Excel 2003) in order to allow all cells of the worksheet
to be selected, even when viewing a cell that has multiple lines of text?

Thanks for your help.
