Default Formatting tables

Select the cells starting with the empty one just above Germany, all the way
down and across to the points for Costa Rica.

From the menu bar, choose Data | Sort
You'll be provided a window to set sorting options. Make sure that the
option in the [My data range has] section is set to show that you have a
Header row, then choose the sort criteria under Sort By (pull down the list
you'll see the names of the various columns and you'll want to choose Points
as the first criteria, choose Descending/Ascending as you desire. Since some
scores will be duplicated, you may want to also choose another column such as
the one with the country names in it, as the second criteria to sequence them
where the point totals are the same.

You can even record a macro to repeat this operation later on.

Hi, I'm new to the forum so I apologise if this thread is in the wrong
place... :S

Basically, I am drawing up an interactive spreadsheet for world cup
results, and I can make it as manipulative as possible, but am
struggling with one thing.

Below is a screenshot of my table:

[image: http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v1...han/table.jpg]

All I need to do is sort the table in descending order of Points,
keeping all formulae and formatting the same.

If anyone could help me with this, it would be much appreciated :)

Nathan
