Default XP windows Registry Question

Syed,
The registry is the main guts of the Windows Operating system.
One incorrect change could incapacitate your computer.
If you don't know exactly what changes to make stay away from it.

However, you may want to take a look at the free program "CCleaner".
It removes unneeded files and cleans some registry entries.
I have been satisfied with it.
Go to http://www.ccleaner.com/ for more information.
