Protecting Cells

I need somebody to explain to me step-by-step how to protect only the formula
cells. When I try, it protects the whole sheet and I can't do anything.

Allllen

Protecting Cells

two steps

1 - Format Cells Protection
Choose which cells you want to protect.
Unlock the ones that you don't want to protect

2 - Tools Protection
This locks the sheet, except for the cells that you unlocked

is that what you need?

Hi Pedro

By default all cells are locked
What you can do is this

First unlock all cells
Ctrl-A (2 times)
Ctrl-1
On the protection tab uncheck locked

Then we go lock the formulas
F5Special...Formulas
OK
Ctrl-1
On the protection tab check locked

Now protect your worksheet
