Pivot Table subtotals
Is there a setting which changes the default [which is "AUTOMATIC"] on pivot
table subtotals to "NONE"? I rarely use subtotals and it is quite irritating to manually change each field as I bring them into the report. thanks, Matt |

Pivot Table subtotals
There's no default setting you can change to turn off subtotals.
After you've created the pivot table, you could use a macro to turn them off. There's code to do that in my pivot table add-in, that you can download he http://www.contextures.com/xlPivotAddIn.html Matt M HMS wrote: Is there a setting which changes the default [which is "AUTOMATIC"] on pivot table subtotals to "NONE"?
