Using 'return' button in Excel for Macs
Hi there,
I am entering written data (sentences) into an Excel spreadsheet on my Mac. When I want to stay in the same cell, but skip down a line (as I can do by pressing "return" in Word), the cursor goes to the next cell. I was told to press Alt+return, but this does not work for Macs. Please help me! Thanks, Rebecca |
Using 'return' button in Excel for Macs
A small search of google for "alt-return mac" indicated that:
control + option + return should work. Make sure that you have wraptext turned on. There are lots of things that Wintel and Mac's share in excel. But for somethings, you may be better posting to: news://msnews.microsoft.com/microsof...c.office.excel Paxbecca wrote: Hi there, I am entering written data (sentences) into an Excel spreadsheet on my Mac.
