Default Column Headings Numeric

My column headings have changed from alpha to numeric. I do not know what I
did to change them, but can not find any direction to change them back.....

Thanks so much. Do you know how this could have happened when I did not go
into tools and click that box?

Excel picks up this setting from the first workbook you open in that session.
If you have a workbook that is shared between lots of folks, maybe one of them
opened, changed that setting and then saved the workbook.

And you just happened to open that workbook first.

Remember that setting. You may find that you need to use it again.
