Pivot table page fields add values previously deslected
 

I have pivot tables that I have selected only certain data in a page
field by dragging it to the detail, selecting only what I want, then
dragging it back to the page section. The problem is that when new
data shows up in the file, it automatically adds that data to the
field. This can cause erroneous information to be reported. Is there
any way to stop it from doing this?

you can use the page field.

Drag field codes to the Page Field. Leave "all" selected

1- right click on top field bar.
2 - Select "Field Settings": at the botton you have the option to HIDE
items.
3- Just select the ones that you DONT want.
