excel * word won't print
 

only my excel and word documents won't print. Everything else from other
programs will print.
Everything was fine until a few days ago, and now when I hit the print and
the interface comes up, in the status it says "idle". I don't believe it is
a printer problem other than the fact for some reason the printer can't
communicate with Microsoft Word and Excel.
A few days ago, I sent a excel document as an attachment in an email, and
the person said it wasn't readable so I went to send again, and thats when I
noticed the idle status.. I checked everything out on the printer and since
it prints other things, its working...
I saved one of the documents to a floppy, then install it on another
computer and printer, and now I have that one mess up just like this one.
can a document get a virus?
