Default Can you type a line over text (opposite of underline)?

Instead of using 'xbar' to represent the mean, I'd like to use 'x' (with a
line over it).

Default Can you type a line over text (opposite of underline)?

Select the cells you need to format and click FORMAT in the menu and click
CELLS. In the dialog box, click the font tab and in the lower left there is
an EFFECTS panel, click STRIKE THROUGH
