Default Stripping the dashes


Hi Guys

Is there a formula that can strip the dashes from a number.

for example.

a book isbn 0-914918-21-4

a forumula that would remove the '-' to make it 0914918214

Digital21st,

If your value is in A1,

=SUBSTITUTE(A1,"-","")

Select the data, then :

<Edit <Replace

In the "Find What" box enter " - " (no quotes),
Leave the "Replace With" box empty,
Then click <Replace All.
