Using COPY with an IF formula
I have a spreadsheet that looks like this ID# HF1 HF2 HF3 HF4 MD 222 y y n y Smith 333 y n n n Jones 444 y y y y Jackson 555 y y n y Jackson and so on I need to copy the row(s) for each MD and place them into a row in another workbook. I was wondering if there is some way that I could combine the IF statement and the COPY statement. Something like =IF(MDcolumn,"smith",copy row). Maybe using an IF statement is not the way to solve this problem. I am open to other ways to do this, no ideas turned away! Thanks in advance! Using COPY with an IF formula
I had forgotten about using filter. It looks like using autofilter will make the job go faster. I'll be able to isolate the rows containing a certain name and just copy the row to the other worksheet. Thanks for your suggestion!
