Default sorting rows into a list

I have a table 10 columns wide, 15 rows high with data in "SOME" of the
cells
My problem is that I want to build a list from this table reading from
top to bottom. The list can have no blank cells. I can't find a way to
do this because some of the cells are blank. Any help would be greatly
appreciated
