Default Row and Columns in Excel

Somehow we have amended an Excel worksheet so that both the row and column
headings are numbers! As you can imagine, to the less clever of us, this can
be very confusing!! Can anyone help?

Thanks very much

If you click on the menu *Tools *Options and select the General tab,
de-select the box for R1C1 reference style and the alpha column headers
will return.
