I double click "report.xls" on my desktop. Excel opens up, but the file does
not. In other words, I see what you would see if you were to open Excel up without a spreadsheet. Anybody seen this before? Thanks! |

If your filename "Report" shows up in the Title Bar, then the file is
actually opening. Now, what happened to the data? 1-It may be on another worksheet, try clicking on the tabs at the bottom 2-It may have been scrolled off the screen.....try the scroll bars 3-It may actually have been deleted Vaya con Dios, Chuck, CABGx3 "Nick" wrote: I double click "report.xls" on my desktop. Sometimes one of these works when you're having trouble with double clicking on
the file in windows explorer: Tools|Options|General|Ignore other applications (uncheck it) --- or --- Close Excel and Windows Start Button|Run excel /unregserver then Windows Start Button|Run excel /regserver The /unregserver & /regserver stuff resets the windows registry to excel's factory defaults.
