Default Transferring Excel File

I have created an excel file on my XP laptop but would now like to use the
same file on my Windows 98 Desktop. I have tried transferring it by memory
pen and also emailing it to myself on the Desktop but unfortunately although
I know the file is there (because I can see it in the preview screen), there
is nothing showing on the normal screen except the 'Standard', 'Format' and
'Formula' toolbars. Not sure whether the problem is with the laptop or the
desktop. Please has anybody else had experience of this and if so, what is
the solution.

Regards,
Sian Webber

Try opening the file once more on the pc where you can only see it via
file|Print preview.

Then use window|arrange|tiled, and resize the way you want it later.

It's a common problem when files are saved on computers with different video
settings.

Found you at last! I couldn't remember on which newsgroup I'd posted my
query. Just wanted to say thanks for your help. Much appreciated and it
worked.
