Default Best way to import data from an e-mail to an excel sheet?

I get piles of e-mails a day that I need to take information from and out
into an excel worksheet. Other than copy and paste and just plain typing the
info in...what is the best way to do this? Is excel what I even should be
using? Any tips or insight?

Do the emails contain numeric data that must be manipulated, or
database-like data? If you can post a sample of some data that would
help. What are you doing with the information?

What kind of information? You can export a whole folder (inbox for instance)
to a CSV file and import it into excel.

Because of our limitations here, I have to use Copy PasteSpecial
Text........depending on what I want, it may take some editing afterwards,
but it gets it there........
