Default Best way to import data from an e-mail to an excel sheet?

I get piles of e-mails a day that I need to take information from and out
into an excel worksheet. Other than copy and paste and just plain typing the
info in...what is the best way to do this? Is excel what I even should be
using? Any tips or insight?
