I believe that the English language is a mix of so many languages,
everything from Anglo, Saxon, Scandinavian (Germanic) and French. So the
brute force of the Germanic languages are mixed with the beauty and
finesse
(there, another French word) of the French language

And much root Greek and Latin.

Not to mention imported Hindu words like bungalow.
