Tell Rita I said "hi"

You'll find information on the MVP program at
<http://mvp.support.microsoft.com, and I think you'll find the FAQ is
particularly useful, including information like:

What is Microsoft's MVP Award?
The MVP Award, which stands for "Most Valuable Professional" is an
annual award given to outstanding members of Microsoft's peer-to-peer
communities.

Why does the award exist?
Microsoft believes a robust, interactive user community is key to
helping customers maximize the solutions and benefits from their software
investments. The MVP Award is Microsoft's way of recognizing those
participants that have made a highly positive impact in the technical and
product communities in which they belong. We want community participants and
leaders to know that their contributions are greatly appreciated. The MVP
Award exists as a way to reach out to and thank outstanding members for
their participation and willingness to help others in these communities.

What does the MVP Award include? What privileges do MVPs receive from
Microsoft?
The MVP Award includes designation as a Microsoft MVP, a complimentary
one-year subscription to MSDN or TechNet, a modest award of Microsoft
software, as well as a certificate commemorating the award. Upon receipt of
an annual Non-Disclosure Agreement (NDA) MVPs are also given access to
private newsgroups and a channel into product group and PSS liaisons.
