Default how can I eliminate the last character of a cell?

I have a database that was imported. Each cell in column A has the data and
a space added at the end. I need a formula to create a new column with the
data from Column A without the additional space.

EX. Presently I have [AAA12345 ]
I would like to show [AAA122345]
