Hi all,
is there a way in Excel for computing the frequency/period from a dataset that represents a periodic signal? Thanks, Cheers, Florin |

The easiest way is to measure and then average the peak-to-peak distances
directly from the data. You could also try to fit a model to the data using any standard linear or non-linear technique to fit the parameters. This qwould require either programming or the clever use of Solver. -- Gary's Student "florin" wrote: Hi all, is there a way in Excel for computing the frequency/period from a dataset that represents a periodic signal?
