Default OR Function (MAYBE)

Basically I need to return the number of times a cell is equal to individual
cells above it. Is there any way to count how many statements in an OR
function are true? For example, given OR(1+2=3,1+2=4,1+3=4) returns 2.

Booner,

How about, say, in cell B2:

=COUNTIF($A$1:A2,B2)

or in cell B3

=COUNTIF($A$1:A2,B3)

Then copy down to match your list.

Which one to use depends on what you mean by above....
