Not sure what you mean by "numbering", but here's an easy way to insert a
bullet point: Hold down the [alt] key...type 0149...release the [alt] key Continue editing (To save keystrokes....after creating the 1st bullet....copy that cell to wherever you need another bullet.) Does that help? *********** Regards, Ron XL2002, WinXP-Pro "Sunil Verma" wrote: How can we insert bullet & numbering with in a cell ? |

You could create the list in Word, then copy to Excel. This will put each
line in a separate cell. Then, you would have to combine the cells, whether by copying or concatenating, and add alt-enter at the end of each line. Bullets can be inserted by using ALT + 0149 from the NumPad
To get more than one line in a cell type your number then hit ALT + ENTER. Once you experiment you will get the idea. You can make a bulleted/numbered list in a cell. I'm not sure what you're saying.
Are you saying that we can put multi-lined text in a single cell (using alt-enter) and number the lines by typing in the numbers, or adding bullets manually as you say. Or Are you saying it's possible to create a list in a single cell, and have it automatically numbered or bulleted, as in Word. If so, I'd appreciate more detail, as I haven't been able to find out how to do so. Thank you "Gord Dibben" wrote: Bullets can be inserted by using ALT + 0149 from the NumPad To get more than one line in a cell type your number then hit ALT + ENTER. Thank you very much. Knowing that something can't be done is helpful, as it
saves time not looking for it :) "Gord Dibben" wrote: Patricia See answers in-line below On Tue, 2 May 2006 12:02:02 -0700, Patricia Shannon wrote: I'm not sure what you're saying.
